PROGRAMME:

FIRST DAY: TRUJILLO - CITY TOUR

• Continental breakfast. In the morning we start our excursion by Moche Valley. We visit Moche countryside where you can see the different ways of cultivating and the traditional costume of the villagers. In the outskirt of the city is located the highest adobe temple to the Sun in America, and the Moon Temple, whose walls are decorated with beautiful high relief friezes with Mochica Mythical Scenes, geometrical and aoomorphic shapes and highly realistic figures. 01 overnight stay at the selected hotel.
  
  
  

• Continental breakfast.
• We visit the archaeological complex of CHAN - CHAN, a labyrinth city that consisted of 9 Royal compounds. Then we pay a visit to the Dragon or Rainbow Temples, famous for its religious archaeological remains with frieze of anthropomorphic figures; the Tschudi Palace, one of the most famous and best preserved compounds. Its walls have high relief figures resembling fish. We go along its ceremonial, streets, channel, reservoirs, squares and pyramidal temples. Finally, we finish our visit in Huanchaco Beach, a traditional fishing port famous for its narrow pointed fishing rafts, known as "Caballitos the totora" (antique Mochica transportation), made of totora reeds. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy the beauty of the city. We suggest to visit the artscraft and footwear fair.
• Transfer to the airport or bus station.

• Continental breakfast.
• Departure to Chicama Valley, on the north side of the Pan-American Highway, where you can see the sugar cane crops of the region. During the journey, we visit the villages of Chicama, Chiclin, and we go for a walk in its square (pergola).
  We continue our walk along Magdalena of Cao. We visit El Brujo Archaeological Complex and its three pyramids. Huacas Prieta, Cortada and Cao Viejo, which are admired because of its high relief friezes with a great variety of drawings and colours. Return to Trujillo
  Transfer to the airport or to the bus station.
