PROGRAMME:
FIRST DAY: TRUJILLO - CITY TOUR

Arrival at the city of Trujillo. Reception and transfer to the
selected hotel. Continental breakfast.

We start our journey very early. We visit the following places:
the Perimeter Wall (Baluarte Herrera), Plazuela
El Recreo, Archaeological Museum, Iturregui Palace, the Emancipation
House, Calonge Urquiaga Church, the Cathedral, Mayorazgo de
Facala House, the Main Square.

SECOND
DAY : SUN AND MOON PYRAMIDS

Continental breakfast. In the mornings we start our excursion
to Moche Valley. We visit Moche countryside, where you can
observe the different ways of cultivating and the typical
clothes of the villagers. In this countryside is located the
highest adobe Temple to the Sun in America; and the Temple
to the Moon, which walls are decorated with beautiful high
relief friezes with Mochica mithology designs.

THIRD
DAY : CHAN CHAN CIRCUIT
- Continental
breakfast.

We visit the archaeological complex of CHAN-CHAN.
We visit the Rainbow Temple or La Huaca Dragon, the Tschude
Palace, one of the most famous and best preserved compounds.
Its walls are decorated with high relief friezes. We go along
its ceremonial squares, streets, channels, reservoirs and
pyramidal temples.
We finish our tour in Huanchaco Beach, a traditional fishing
port, famous for the ancient "caballitos de Totora"
(antique Mochica transport) and for having the best waves
for surfing.
