In the morning: Excursion to the Uros "Floating Islands"
which are made of piles of reeds. Departure the bay of Puno
to go on a lake excursion to the floating islands made of "Totora"
and inhabited by the Uros. The Uros live in huts built on totora
platforms, which are not more than 30 or 40 cm thick. Transfers
from and to the hotel are included. Then we continue our journey
to Taquille, a beautiful island with 550 steps. Lunch is included.

Return to the hotel at about 7 pm.

Excursion
to the Chullpas of Sillustani, precolumbian funeral towers of
XIII century in a beutiful setting on a peninsula in Lake Aymara,
35 km from Puno, on the road to Juliaca. The highest tower measures
about 12 metres height. The stunning landscapes and the Lake
Umayo make this tour become an unforgettable experience.
