DETAILED PROGRAMME:

FIRST DAY: LIMA  
At convenient time you will be picked up from the airport of Lima and transferred to the hotel MUNDO LIMA HOTEL ***.

SECOND DAY : LIMA - CUSCO
Transfer from the hotel of Lima to the Airport Jorge Chavez in Lima. Flight trip to the city of Cusco. In the afternoon: a COMBINED EXCURSION ; We will visit the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Temple to Sun or Koricancha and typical indian streets. In addition, we visit the 4 surrounding sites of the city: the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the Amphitheatre of Quenco, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.
At night you will be transferred to the touristic restaurant DON ANTONIO, where you will enjoy a delicious typical dinner while you admire the folk show. Accommodation at the HOTEL GARCILASO ***.
The Temple to Sun or Koricancha

THIRD DAY : CUSCO – MACHU PICCHU
Early transfer from the hotel to the train station, where we will get on the train to MACHU PICCHU. We arrive at the station Puente Ruinas at the foot of the mountain, and then we travel by minibus to the ruins. Then we have a guided visit to the "Lost City of the Incas", and after that we taste a delicius lunch in the hotel Inkaterra. Accommodation at the hotel HOTEL HANAQPACHA ***.
MACHU PICCHU

FOURTH DAY: CUSCO- MACHU PICCHU
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning
Optional: To visit the archaeological site of Machu Picchu (If so, you will have to pay the entrance to the ruins directly), climb up the Huaynapichu. Visit and enjoy the Hot Springs of the village.
Buffet lunch. In the early afternoon, return to Cusco by train(tourist class). Arrival at Cusco, reception and transfer to the HOTEL GARCILASO ***. Overnight stay in Cusco.
HOT SPRINGS
FIFTH DAY: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast at the hotel.
A full-day excursion to the famous "Sacred Valley of the Incas ", Where we pay a visit to the village of Pisac, its fair and indian market (a place where a good selection of beautiful handicrafts is offered). If our excursion takes place on a Sunday, we can appreciate the mass in Quechua language. The mayors of the Pisac region, meet in their typical dress at Sunday Mass. They receive the name of Vara-yoc: the man with the rod. We continue our journey, visiting the villages of Calca, Borja, Yucay, Lamay, Urubamba, which is well known as the pearl of Vilcanota, with beautiful landscapes and healthy weather. Buffet lunch is included. . Later we visit the "Fortress of Ollantaytambo", a huge agricole, administrative, social, religious and militar complex in the times of Tahuantinsuyo which is formed by temples, "andenes" astonishing agricultural terraces that outline the slopes of this amazing Historical Sanctuary and united by a complete system of canals. Returning to Cuzco, we get into the village of Chincheros, antique agricole Indian Centre, with a stunning andean landscape, which stands out by its colonial church as well as its craft textile. Accommodation at the HOTEL GARCILASO***.

SIXTH DAY: CUSCO – PUNO
Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco. Transfer to the touristic bus station INKA EXPRESS, The bus leaves Cusco at 08.00 a.m in the morning and arrives at Puno at 05:00 in the afternoon. During the journey, the following guided visits will be done, departing from Cusco: First Stopover: Andahuaylillas Second stopover: Raqchi Third stopover: La Raya and Fourth stopover: Pukara. A buffet lunch will be offered at a touristic restaurant located in Sicuani, in the middle of the road. We arrive there at about 12:30 pm. In Puno, reception and transfer to the HOTEL BALSA INN ***.
San Pedro of Andahuaylillas

SEVENTH DAY : PUNO – ISLANDS
In the morning we go on a excursion to the Uros Floating islands. Visit to the floating islands, made of "totora", inhabited by the Uros. The Uros live in huts built over totora platforms, which are not bigger than 30 or 40 cms of thickness. Transfers from and to the hotel are included. Then we continue to Taquile, a beautiful islands of 550 steps.
Lunch is included. Then we return to the hotel at about 7:00 pm in the evening. 01 overnight stay at the HOTEL BALSA INN ***.
ISLANDS UROS

EIGHTH DAY: PUNO- SILLUSTANI
Breakfast at the hotel. An excursion to the Chullpas of Sillustani: burial towers of XIII century which stands 35 km north of Puno, road to Juliaca. The highest one measures about 12 metres. The stunning landscapes and the Umayo Lake make this tour become an unforgettable experience. Transfer to the Airport of Juliaca to fly to Arequipa. In Arequipa, reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the HOTEL ENSUEÑO ***.
Chullpas de Sillustani

NINTH DAY: AREQUIPA
In the afternoon, city tour: An excursion to the white city, visiting the main tourist attractions such us the Main Square, the Cathedral, Churches and cloisters of the Company of Jesus, Santa Catalina Monastery, Colonial Mansions, Monastery of Fierro, Yanahuara Viewing Platform. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy the city. 01 overnight stay in the HOTEL ENSUEÑO ***.
Main Square of Arequipa

TENTH DAY: AREQUIPA- COLCA
Continental breakfast at the hotel.
Early departure along the route of Pulpera, Mollepunco Caves, Door and Window of Colca 4450 metres. We have a delicious lunch at the restaurant of Chivay.
Accommodation in Chivay.
We pay a visit to the hot springs Las Caleras. Then dinner at the restaurant.

ELEVENTH DAY : AREQUIPA- COLCA
COLCA CANYON
Continental breakfast at the hotel.
A visit to the Colca Canyon and the famous lookout of "La Cruz del Condor" (The Cross of the Condor) a few minutes from Chivay. Here you can also see the tips of the Ampato, Coropuna and the Mismi, whose melted ice gives birth to the Amazonas River. In the town of the valley, there are churches and traditional parties. Direct to "The Cross of the Condor" (the most important bird is the condor, considered the biggest fying creature of the planet), Tapay Viewing Platform, Pinchollo, Maca, Yanque, a visit to Sabancaya volcano in eruption. Lunch at Chivay.
Then we return by Chucura Viewing Platform 4,850 metres, Chilca snow mountain, during all the journey you can admire the beautiful territories where camelids and other Andean species live. Finally, return to Arequipa and transfer to the hotel. An overnight stay at the HOTEL ENSUEÑO ***.

TWELFTH DAY : AREQUIPA- NAZCA
Continental breakfast at the hotel. A visit to the countryside, including lunch. At convenient time, transfer to the bus station to travel to Nazca. Overnight stay on the bus.

THIRTEENTH DAY: NAZCA - PARACAS
Reception in Nazca. A flight to the mysterious Nazca Lines .
Transfer by private bus to Paracas.
In Paracas, reception and transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation at the HOTEL EL MIRADOR ***.

FOURTEENTH: PARACAS – LIMA - HUARAZ
THE CANDELABRO
Breakfast at the hotel in Paracas. Transfer to the jetty to go touring: Ballestas Islands and candelabrum by speedboat. During the journey we go past the bay, the Port of San Martin, you watch THE CANDELABRO, a huge figure that looks like the Nazca figures and which could only be observed from the sea; and on the Ballestas Islands you can see a great sea fauna, such as seavolves, Humboldt penguins, etc. Return to Chaco, Then return to the hotel.
In the afternoon we go back to Lima. Transfer to the hotel in Lima MUNDO LIMA HOTEL *** to rest a little and to have a shower. At night, transfer to the bus station to Huaraz.

FIFTEENTH DAY: HUARAZ
Reception and transfer to the hotel in Huaraz. Breakfast at the hotel. We go for a walk along the main street of the city, visiting: The Main Square, the Temple of the Lord of Soledad (Lord of the city of Huaraz), trout hatchery, the antique street José Olaya and the hot springs of Monterrey. The visit will take about 04 hours. Then we return to the hotel. The rest of the afternoon is yours to have a well-earned rest or to enjoy the beauty of the city. Accommodation at the HOTEL AMERICA *** .

SIXTEENTH DAY: HUARAZ – LLANGANUCO
Breakfast at the hotel.An eight hour-excursion to the lagoon of Llanganuco, Callejón de Huaylas. Then we go along the road to Huaraz - Caraz (75 Km.) . During the journey we visit villages of unique beauty such as Marcará, Carhuaz, Mancos, Ranrahirca y Yungay. Then we return off 27 km, going into the White Range to reach the unforgettable LLANGANUCO LAGOON 3850 metres above the sea level, surrounded by the fantastic scenery. In this place we have direct contract with the nature and the purity of its waters. Then we return to Yungay and go to the city of Caraz, where we can try the delicious "manjar blanco" and visit the street markets where delicious typical dishes of the region are offered, everything under the excellent climate of the city. Typical lunch. Return to the city and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the HOTEL AMERICA *** .
Llanganuco Lagoon

SEVENTEENTH DAY: HUARAZ – CHAVIN DE HUANTAR
Breakfast at the hotel.
We go on a excursion to Chavín de Huantar, astonishing architectural complex of the Chavin culture (1000 BC ) located at 109 km from Huaraz. It will take about 9 hours. A cultural excursion to the temple (3500 b.c). One of the most antique civilizations in America, built in a "terrible and magnificent" religion, surrounded by snow peaks. Chavin de Huantar still hides the mystery of its origin. In this place you will admire the impressive Lanzon (a litho sculpture), laberynth Gallery, Choquechenchay Stone, Cabezas Clavas ( Keystones of proyecting blocks shaped as human heads), ceremonial squares and terraces. During the journey we visit some mine villages, Queracocha Lagoon,Cahuish tunnel, which at 4,178 above the sea level crosses the White Range, joining Callejon de Huaylas with Callejon de Conchucos.
Return to the city. Accommodation at the HOTEL AMERICA *** .
Chavin de Huantar

EIGHTEENTH DAY: HUARAZ – PASTORURI - TRUJILLO
Breakfast at the hotel in Huaraz.
We go on a excursion to the glacier of Pastoruri, This visit will take about seven hours.
The Starting point is in the city of Huaraz. The route is to the south, paved road. Taking the route to Pachacoto we get to Carpa, place of the Huascaran National Park where the Puya Raymondi stands. It is considered the biggest in florescence of the vegetable reign, sparkling waters of Pumapampa (mineralized water), "El ojo de agua of Pumashimi", well of a peculiar beauty where you can see the colours of its waters with different shades, cave painting of 10,000 BC.
By the mountain stream of Yanapampa starts the access to the GLACIER OF PASTORURI, once you are in the icecaps ypu can practise ski, ascent, toboggan and enjoy the feeling of having defeated the challenge of altitude, and admire the glaciers which are proyected in a blue sky.
Touristic lunch.
Return to the city and transfer to the hotel.
Then at convenient time you are transferred to the bus station to take the bus to Trujillo.

GLACIER OF PASTORURI

NINETEENTH DAY: TRUJILLO
Reception and transfer to the hotel. We have a delicious breakfast at the hotel and then we visit the city and go to the archaeological Museum. We do the Chan Chan circuit; Dragón, Tschudi, Huanchaco.
Then typical lunch.
Transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation in the HOTEL GRAN BOLIVAR *** .
City of Chan Chan

TWENTIETH DAY: TRUJILLO - CHICLAYO - LIMA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the bus station to travel to Chiclayo. Reception in Chiclayo. We visit the Museum of Royal Tombs .
Then we go to Tucume or Sipan and the site Museum.
We enjoy a typical lunch and then you are transferred to the hotel to rest.
At convenient time you are transferred to the airport to return to Lima.
In Lima, reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in the hotel GARZA HOTEL ***.
TUCUME

TWENTY-FIRST DAY: LIMA  
Breakfast at the hotel. Then we pay a visit to the city of Lima. We have lunch at a typical restaurant and then transfer to the hotel. At night, transfer to the Restaurant BRISAS DEL TITICACA, Where you will enjoy a great flok show while you are tasting a delicious dinner. At convenient time you will be transferred to the hotel. Accommodation in the MUNDO LIMA HOTEL ***.

TWENTY-SECOND DAY : LIMA – IQUITOS  
Breakfast at the hotel in Lima. Transfer from the hotel to the airport to travel to Iquitos. Arrival in Iquitos and welcome in the stand of Amazon River Expeditions, located inside the International Airport of Iquitos. Transfer to our Operation office, located in the city, and information of the services that you will receive according to your voucher. At convenient time you will be transferred to the port of Bellavista, located by the banks of River Nanay where we get on a speed boat to start our trip by the Amazon River to the jungle of Yanamono (Black Monkey) which has the recognition of holding a good selection of tree species (more than 300 species), place where Heliconia Amazon River Lodge is located.
During this journey that takes about 1 hour 15 m, you can observe the confluence of the Amazon River with the Nanay River, as well as see the impressive jungle landscapes and the picturesque houses of the riverside villages.
Then arrival at the lodge and reception with a delicious typical fruit juice. The rooms will be assigned. Lunch. After a deserved rest, we start our walk in primary Jungle of Yanamoto Communal Reserve, accompanied by 2 expert guides. We can identify botanical species such as the "heliconias", medical plants and huge trees as the Lupuna (Ceiba Pentandra) whose dimmensions make more than 25 people surround it. During our journey we can hear different bird species such as Rinahui ( Cathaites-Aura), Tihuacuro ( Monasa-Atia) , etc, and if we are lucky watch the tiny monkey such as Pichicos (saguinus fusicollis) , and Tocones (Callicebus Mollock Mollock) and Frailes (Saimiri Boliviense). Then we return to the lodge and have a rest. After having seen the beautiful Amazon sunset, we start our interesting night excursion by boat along the Quebrada Manco (If the food of the river let us sail) or by the Amazon River, to enjoy of the magical jungle sound and by moonlight we observe the constellations. Dinner and overnight stay at the CUMACEBA LODGE .

TWENTY-THIRD DAY: HELICONIA AMAZON RIVER LODGE  
In the early morning, we start our bird watching tour by the Quebrada Caceres or similar (If the flood allows us), where we observe species such as Tuki (Jacana Jaca), Martín Pescador (Ceryle- Torquata), Coto Gavilán or black neck sparrow-hawk (Busarellus nigricollis), etc. During our journey, we will also see the impressive Victoria Regia (water lilies ) in the lake located inside Yanamono Island (if the flood allows us). Then we return to the lodge, and have a rest. After a short rest, we visit the village of Yagua where we have the opportunity of sharing with them a few moments of their lifestyle.

Returning to the lodge we visit a craft Trapiche where we can taste different regional beverages elaborated with sugar cane. Then we return to the lodge. Lunch.
In the afternoon we go fishing in the Quebradas of the Amazon river, the most experienced fishermen will feel the emotion of fishing pirahnas and other kind of fishes. During the journey, and if the conditions of the river allows us, we can observer the shy pink dolphins ( Inia Geoffrensis ). Return to the lodge. Dinner. At night, the most adventurous will have the chance of starting a night walk around the lodge to search and watch tarantulas, glow-worms and other night species of our Amazon as well. And then go to sleep at CUMACEBA LODGE .

TWENTY-FOURTH DAY: HELICONIA LODGE - IQUITOS CITY  
After breakfast, transfer to the city of Iquitos. Transfer to the hotel in Iquitos. The rest of day is yours to enjoy the beauty of the city. Accommodation at the HOTEL DORADO ***.
TWENTY-FIFTH DAY: IQUITOS – LIMA
Breakfast at the hotel.
At convenient time transfer to the airport to fly to Lima.
In Lima, transfer from the airport to the hotel.
At night show dinner in the restaurant MANOS MORENAS in Barranco
Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the HOTEL MUNDO LIMA ***.

TWENTY-SIXTH DAY: LIMA  
Breakfast at the hotel.
