PROGRAMME:
First Day: Ayacucho - City Tour

Early departure to the city of Ayacucho, reception and transfer
to the selected hotel.

On arrival at the city of Ayacucho. Transfer to the hotel. City
Tours: Historical Centre of Colonial Huamanga, Unanue Museum.
Temples of Santo Domingo, the Cathedral, Compañia, San
Cristobal and Monastery of Santa Teresa. Mansions Bozasolis,
Chacón, Castilla-Zamora. Acuchimay Viewing Platform,
and finally a visit to Barrio Santa Ana. Transfer to the hotel.

Second
Day : Archaeological
Complex of Wari - Pampa of Ayacucho-The quinua village

Continental breakfast.

We visit to the Archaeological Complex of Wari,
located 22 Km.This place was the first urban walled centre in
the Andes and was used for political, administrative, ceremonial,
residential and productive purposes. Here we will visit its
museum, the Main Temple of Vegachayoq Moqo, the subterranean
canals and tunnels of Monqachayoq and possible the royal tomb,
and funeral chambers of Cheqo Wasi as well. It stands out The
Tuna, The Tara, The Molle
and The paty (an hallucinogenic ritual tree).
We also pay a visit to the Historical Sanctuary of Pampa de
Ayacucho, located at the foot of Apu, Condorcunca hill, at 3,3000
metres above sea level. It was here on the Pampa de Quinua,
on 9 December 1824, that the decisive battle of Ayacucho was
fought, bringing Spanish rule in Peru to and end. Huamanga was,
therefore, the first city on the continent to celebrate its
liberty.

visit "The Villa of Quinua", a stunning picturesque
andean village surrounded by a lovely countryside of full vegetation,
which houses are built of adobe, roof with tiles of two waters
and stony streets. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Third
Day: Puyas Raymondi - Pomaqocha - Vilcashuaman.

We go to the south of Ayacucho to the plateau of Morochucos,
where we admire the enigmatic high andean landscapes, decorated
with the presence of slim Titankas or Puyas of Raymondi, exclusive
exotic plants of Peru and part of Bolivia. We visit the Lagoon
and the Complex of Pomaqocha, designed by the incas with a feline
shapa and used as a place of rest. We also visit Vilcashuaman.
impressive Inca ruins to the south, which is considered as the
second political, administrative and ceremonial centre of great
importance after Cusco. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Fourth
Day : Cave of Pikimachay - Valley of Huanta - Luricocha

After we have breakfast, we visit the Cave of Pikimachay, at
about 25 kim road to Huanta. A natural rocky construction of
volcanic origin of the end of the Third Age and beginning of
the Fourth. We go to the Valley of Huanta, a colonial republic
city, located in the bushy valley called "Emerald of the
Andes", warm weather, with the characteristics of luxuriant
vegetation, landscapes and picturesque places. It stands out
its church with a baroc style and the Convent of Redentoristas
with a gotic style. In the outskirts stands out the snow mountain
of Rasuhuillca, its impressive lagoons, a stony forest and waterfalls.
Also worth a visit the Centre of Luricocha, a five-minutes journey
from Huanta, which is well-Known because of its fruticole production,
specially avocados, lucuma, sauco and christmas apple as well.
Typical dishes from the region are offered at break time in
the farms. At convenient time transfer from the hotel to the
airport or to the bus station to return or continue your tour
to the selected city.
